HP SIM and blade enclosures
I have installed HP SIM 5.2 with Update 2 to monitor my blades.
I have added all the blades manually and they are being monitored
fine. However, two "P-class enclosures" have been detected by HP SIM - I don't know what
they are - I think they are the two servers sitting on top of the blades and
probably are connected to them as well.
I can see some of the blades coming under the tree of these enclosures and
sometimes they disappear. I also don't get a lot of information about the
enclosures as well - for example, for one of the enclosures HP SIM says:
Firmware Revision Not Available
Power Zone Not Available
Unit ID (LED) Not Available
My question is: how can I add all the blades under these enclosures and how
can I get proper information about these enclosures?
Thanks for any suggestion.
