HP SIM and Windows Event Log
hi all,
anyone can help?
I am using HP DL360 G4 with Smart Array, and the problem is:
some error alerts shown up under SIM but not record in Windows Event Log. but some can

What do you want to know in windows in you're event log? because if i remember well some information wont show in event log has exemble: hardware failure!but you can get information from windows into HP SIM, it just depend and want you want to know?

You can use the automatic event handling task available under "Options->Events->Automatic Event Handling" and select the events to be written on to the System Log.

what i want to know is:
my server is running with Raid 5, when a disk failure there is no logging on the windows event log, but only got a message about the Raid is rebuilding.
