HP SIM monitoring clusters on "external" network.
Hello.
Not sure if what we are after is possible but here we go.
We got a central HP SIM set up to monitor our servers on differant networks and it works great. Only thing missing is monitoring of our Microsoft clusters (the cluster part). This is because each server has atleast 2 network interfaces. 1 for administrative traffic (HP SIM, backup etc.) and 1 for "normal" traffic including the cluster communication.
My question is. Is it possible to set up a SIM (sim light :) to collect information from inside the external network and forward it to the central HP SIM server?
HP SIM 5.1 and all servers are running Windows Server 2003.
