HP sim not accessible anymore
Hi all,
We have a hp sim server running since summer last year, as it was an old version, i thought, let's upgrade to 5.0 and than install all the sp packages.
everything went well, we were running version 5.0 sp4 for a week and last monday i was not able to logon to the webinterface, error:unknown user, i tried different users and nothing worked.
I rebooted the server, restarted the hpsim service, did not help, also did the following as it was mentioned in this forum:mxpassword -m -x MxDBUserPassword="password" and since than is the whole url not available.
I was able to track the log and this is the last error:see attachment.
I thought to install everything from zero again but as hp sim was installed by a HP engineer, i was afraid that i will never get it running.
I hope someone can help me out to resolve this problem as i was monitoring all our servers(approx. 85) and it was a great package.
Thanks a lot

Re: HP sim not accessible anymore
Update:
I reinstalled hpsim 5.0 and was not able to logon, i than changed the username to a local admin account and changed the domain to the name of the server where hpsim is installed and voila, i'm in.
I lost all my systems but that's not a problem, will do an automatic discovery.
although the problem is solved, thank you all.
