HP SIM not discovering SUN Sparc machine
Hi,
one of our customer wanted to monitor his SUN SPARC server with Solaris running on it.
I proposed HP SIM but So far i managed to capture very limited information from the server using SNMP and SSH.
Can someone advise on a detailed work around.
I tried Zenoss, and i wanted to capture the same info like zenoss did
the info i'm trying to capture:machine name, network ports, cpu usage, disk usage, memory usage, events, serial numbers
Kindly assist.
Below is what i managed to get from the server:
Identification
Address 192.168.33.23
Preferred System Name 192.168.33.23
Network Name 192.168.33.23
Product Description
System Type Unknown
Hardware Description SunOS sstsunray 5.10 Generic_137137-09 sun4u
OS Type AIX
Management Protocols SNMP:1.0, SSH:SSH-2.0-Sun_SSH_1.1
