I want to install newest version SIM on the proliant server, and SIM agent for TruClusterServerV5.1B(GS160).my question is:
1.can this be supported ?
2.what SIM version should i download(HP SIM for windows or ProLiant Essentials Foundation Pack - Management CD V7.42)
3.if i download HP Insight Management Agents for Tru64 UNIX V3.5,does this need a License key on tru64 if it's trucluster env?
4. what is the way to monitor my GS160 and EMA12000?

Solution
I'm not a TruCluster expert, but here goes.
If there are agents available then HPSIM should be able to monitor the Server.
You'd download the HPSIM 5, SP4 Windows version, you don't need the entire CD.
I'm not aware of any license requirements for the management Agents.
HPSIm will manage the GS160.
As for the EMA12000, that is typically monitored by the Hosts which then pass alerts back to HPSIM. On our Windows Servers theres a "steam" agent which monitors the EMA12000. You'd need to check on the platform kit for the EMA.
