HP SIM SSO Certificate issue...

I have a strange one.  been testing SIM 7 and ran into some certificate issues..  If the server is in standby mode ie not powered on... I can SSO from SIM to the iLO using certificate based trust with no issue whatsoever...    However if that server is powered on, then the certifcate trust becomes invalid...

 

It works fine by name all of the time...

 

it works fine if the server is in standby with certificates

 

i have tried every combo of name/certificate/rediscovery/adding the server before/after certificate name...

 

very strange...

 

the hardware is a DL360 g5 (for testing), and have tried HP SIM v6.3/7.1 on windows 2008 and the outcome is the same...
