Discovery hangs Checking if this system is supported by Insight Control power management..

HPSIM is installed on a Windows server using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition.  We have a number of discovery tasks which are run in sequence all resulting in a different number of ping results.  When the discovery first starts it works OK but after a while each discovery times out at the point when it is Checking if this system is supported by Insight Control power management... resulting in the task showing a failed status.  The only way to get the discovery process working again is by rebooting the server.  It is as if whatever process is doing the checking for power management runs out of resources and needs to be restarted in order for those resources to be cleared down.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?
