HP SIM using Windows 7 Ultimate

Hey,

 

I'm trying to get the HP SIM management software installed on a technician computer running Windows 7 Ultimate. I can't get it to install on the included DVD (After asking for SQLEXPRESS it goes to a "Page cannot be displayed"). I ended up downloading the updated SIM 7.1 (June 2012 I think) from HP's web site. Now when I run the installer it says I'm using an unsupported operating system. According to the HP SIM download page, it supports Windows 7 Professional. Does this mean that I cannot use it on an Ultimate installation of Windows 7?

Are you using IE9? If so try downgrading to IE8 for the install then you can upgrade after if it's successful.
