HP SIM v 5 monitoring system reboots

Hello there,

W2k and W2k3 used to send events about system restart or shutdown into system log and we would like to get those messages into HP SIM Console. Is there any way to achieve that ? The other question - if this is possible to implement, would SIM catch it before a system shuts down or reboots ?
