HP Survey Utility - Is it still required?

Hi all

I am monitoring all of our HP Proliant servers through HPSIM and am deploying latest firmware baselines over a few months. I wanted to know if the HP Survey utility is still required or would Systems Insight Manager provide configuration history of the server. Just need to know if I need to install the latest version or not.

Any thoughts let me know
