HP System Management Homepage - Proliant DL 160 G5
Hello, I just finish to install the HP System Management Homepage in a Proliant DL 160 G5 with Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 x64. But
when the automatic update settings try to download the last Support Pack have this log message:
Automatic update downloaded 0 files. No Version Control Agents have provided operating system information to use as a download selection criteria.
How can resolve it.
Thanks

Re: HP System Management Homepage - Proliant DL 160 G5
Your Error points you to the problem. VC agent. Is it even loaded? remember the SMH and VC agent are two seperate tools.
If the VC agent is installed is it configured with a repository to work with?
I just built a new SIM server in another region and it took 3 servers to be discovered to be properly configured for the Repository to begin loading up software.

Re: HP System Management Homepage - Proliant DL 160 G5
ProLiant 100 series offer only basic manageability through IPMI; there is no ProLiant Support Pack available for them. Therefore, VCA won't have anything to download.
