HP System Management Hompepage + Winbind
Dear HP community,
we're running SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 including ServicePack 2 on a HP Proliant DL380 G4. On top of this system I've installed The Proliant support pack 7.30 for SLES9.
The whole system is running in 32 Bit mode.
To integrate the system in our active directory winbind is running. The package is out of the 3.0.20 compilation from ftp.sernet.de.
I've configured pam so it allows a login via our Active directory admin accounts. All system administrators are member of a local unix group called sysadm.
This group was added to the allowed user groups in the insight web agents. When I try to login via the weg agents with \ and my password I get an immediate error "Login failed".
There is no log entry created in /var/log/messages.
I also tried to add my user to the local root group. I get the same error message.
Has anyone ever tried this? I haven't found any informations in the Internet.
Best regards
Andi
