Re: HP System Managment Home page - SNMP ESX 4
Did you get an SNMP timeout message before the screen displayed?
I've had this before and it was due to a misconfigured snmpd.conf. You may have to manually edit this outside of the SMH in order to get it working.
Also, is the local firewall open for all of the required ports?

Re: HP System Managment Home page - SNMP ESX 4
Hi
have you install the last hpmgmt-8.4.0-vmware4x agents ?
I had the same issue with ESX VSphere
or just tried /etc/init.d/snmpd restart and /etc/init.d/hpsmhd restart

Re: HP System Managment Home page - SNMP ESX 4
we found the answer, the snmpd.conf file was a bit corrupt, had extra characters and bits missing, once corrected and the SNMP deamon restarted all was fixed.
