HPSIM 4.1 Version Control Agent status "?"

Hello,

For some reason I only one of my server has the green check mark in the SW colume in the All Systems view. I checked the other systems and when I click on the blue ? I get the same info and I do with the one with the green check mark. I verified the config for the agents and they are all the same, yet only one shows the green check. Anyone know why this is?

Holding the cursor over the "?" should give you the reason why it's not fully configured - most likely a security trust issue? I would check the Trusted certificates (if you're using them) under Device Home\Settings\Options, and also try re-configuring the VC agent settings to point to the VC Repository Manager. Then try a software poll.

Is there a way to reconfigure the VC without reinstalling? I don't know the passwords on the old installs so I have been having to reinstall the whole support paq and it takes forever.

You could run \\CIM\\repository\setup.exe which will allow you to configure the VCA required with a new password and push it out to the server in question?
