HPSIM & MSSQL2000
HPSIM dedicated server with 3gb RAM & 2.80GHZ processor, MSSQL2000 on another server with the HPSIM database, 3gb RAM & 3.06GHZ processor. Both server running W2K with sp4.
I find that when I use the HPSIM GUI either from the HPSIM server or from my client workstation, it's very very slow when trying to edit list I have setup or creating new server list or managed tasks.
Is this normal?
The network card on both server are 100mb/full and our network under utilised, I can only see that the query of sql2000 is the problem, anyone help with this?

Re: HPSIM & MSSQL2000
I have in total about 200 servers and 6,000 workstations. The workstations are never included in any lists, they just exist to obtain numbers, could these workstations be slowing down the queries?

Re: HPSIM & MSSQL2000
I had already amended the non-server schedule to once a month, cause it's just a number count for us. As a test I am going to remove all the desktops to see if the queries speed up.
