HPSIM & OpenView Integration

Info library has many documents. Does anyone know which would be the best resource for information on integration between HPSIM and OV? Thanks

The current method of integration for both OpenView Network Node Manager and OpenView Operations for Windows is in the form of having the OV products talk directly with the Insight agents. In other words, the hpSIM application itself is not required (although it provides some unique functionality such as version control and distribution). Future integrations will contemplate 'console' integration in addition to agent integration.

OVOW integration is delivered as a set of the NT/2000/2003 Smart Plug-In (SPI) beginning with the 7.1 release. Documentation on the WINOSSPI can be found at http://ovweb.external.hp.com/ovnsmdps/pdf/winosspi.pdf with the Insight information beginning on page 44.
