HPSIM & RDP

Hi all,

I have installed HPSIM 5SP4, and I will try to install RDP in a future. I don´t know if I´ll install RDP on the same machine or in other machine. What do you recommend???

HI,

Well it depends a lot on what type of hardware you plan this installation on. As long as you take into consideration the required specs for both softwares. It is possible and supported by HP to integrate RDP within SIM environment.

Hi, first all, thanks for your reply. I have read that I have to install RDP first. I have installed (in a development enviroment) HPSIM first and I don´t see any problem. I don´t know if I can obtain any problem with Database, queries, users,.....

That was the requirement for the earlier versions of RDP, but not any more if you are planning to install the latest version (RDP 3).
I also installed RDP after SIM and it seems to function just fine.
