HPSIM and alerts

hi
we're running HPSIM 5.3 since a while, with sereal proliant servers (~100)
and , i setup Automatic Event Handling task to email only Criticals.
HpSIM send me the alert "System is unreachable" from a host that never down? It's doing so for diffenrent servers... each time , i take a look at the system, and everytinhg is OK. I wonder why? can we adjust the way it's polling?

Also, how can i stop receiving critical alert for software update "Critical Software update Notification Trap"

There are some polling time-outs you can adjust, Options->Protocol Settings->Global Protocol Settings.
HPISIM is fairly tolerant so you should check for slow networks or other issues that might stop ping from getting a response.

You could go through and find the SNMP Trap for the Critical Software Notification" and change its severity, or get your software / firmware up to date.
