HPSIM and FireFox

Due to the reported problems with IE and Insight Manager, I've switched over to Mozilla Firefox but have lost some capabilities with this browser. I can longer manage events for example. Browser doesn't freeze, it appears to have taken the change but won't proceed on to the next step. Also, while opening the program itself, after login, it opens to a blank screen then goes into a Not Responding mode. Sometimes I have to do an End Program and retry up to 4 times before I get the information I need! Anyone else had these types of problems? Is HP any closer to overcoming what the IE patch did to its program? I understood there to be a fix in the works.
Thanks,
Kelly

Re: HPSIM and FireFox

Patches for HP SIM 4.0 and 4.1 to address the change in behavior with MS patch MS04-025 were posted on August 6. http://www.hp.com/servers/manage --> HP SIM --> Downloads

We were demonstrating HP SIM all last week using Firefox at HP World without a problem. I haven't experienced what you're describing.

Re: HPSIM and FireFox

Kelly,
I've not seen the problem you mention but *I did find several problems using Mozilla Firefox.
David,
I found Mozilla had the following issues.
The Memory Sub-system page was always blank. I could never get it to display details.
The VCRM reported Unsupported Browser when the Catalogue wa selected.
PPA Graphs did not display.

You may need to reinstall the JRE for Java to play nice with Mozilla. Or you may can add from Control Panel/Java Console.

Eureka, the patch works beautifully! Thanks to all who responded. Don't know how I missed getting the patch before now, but I'm glad to be rid of Mozilla Firefox to tell the truth.

Cheers,
Kelly
