HPSIM service does not start up after changing the CMS password. Remote Oracle Database is used.
I have installed HPSIM on my Windows Server 2003 with Remote Oracle Database configured. Recently, I had to change my system password. I stopped HPSIM service, changed my system password, used mxpassword -g option to modify the MxDBUserPassword and tried to start HPSIM service. But it didn't start and threw the following error:
Error 1069: The service did not start due to logon failure.
mxpassword -g option works when the database is local(SQL), which is bundled with HPSIM. But while using Remote Database, it doesn't work. What is it that I am doing wrong here? Would appreciate any help regarding the above.
Thanks
