HPSIM site Checking HTTP Sever Status
Greetings. HPSIM although working as events are being sent out and pages as well as entries are showing in the Local HPSIM's servers Event Log, but you cannot access the website and states if you launch the utility via the provided link it states
Checking HTTP Server Status with time
It seems to be running, the account that it runs under is not locked out, and it is started in services, but same thing. You cannot access the HPSIM either locally or remotely using https://servernamehpsim:50000
Any ideas?
I have rebooted the server mutliple times, restarted the service and same thing. There is no issue with Database or security either... Just cannot logon to HPSIM

Re: HPSIM site Checking HTTP Sever Status
Hi!
Had exactly the same problems twice on the same server. The first time i reinstalled HPSIM since it was nely installed, but the second time I did the following and then it worked:
Deleted all files from the Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\logs directory, except for the file INITCONFIG.LOG. Stop The HP SIM related services (HP SIM, IIS, WWW & SMTP) before deleting the files.
Checked the credentials for the service HP Systems Insight Manager, and set them to Domain Administrator and set the password again.
Restarted the server, then it worked.
