HPSIM SNMP config
I still need more information about SNMP Setting.
What is the Difference between Read only and Read write.
Please provide me link to get more info and suggest to good link to learn in and out of HPSIM

Re: HPSIM SNMP config
For general info, go to www.hp.com/go/hpsim follow the link to the Reference Library. The technical / user guide is pretty comprehensive.
SNMP is used two ways, HPSIM polls using SNMP and that requires snmp on the target servers to be configured correctly.
HPSIM also receives SNMP Traps from the agents again that's an agent config.
On the target servers you need read only to allow HPSIM access and Read Write for localhost only.
Read Write allows SNMP to actually do stuff on the server. But it does it internally.
The SNMP Trap destination only needs to be RO and points to the HPSIM Server. That's so the agents can send traps to the HPSIM Server.
