HPSim SP1
Any time frame for the next release or SP1 for SIM ? Any idea on what it will fix or add ? Thanx.

hpSIM 4.1 is expected late April/early May to be available for download. Most all of the warts that have been commented on in this forum have been addressed to some degree, Performance Management Pack will be included with 1 free license as before with IM7, and the data migration tool for upgrading from IM7 will be included. We're hoping you'll all notice a little speed improvement also.
Normally we don't comment on un-announced products, but this is a relatively minor update. I won't go into any deeper details because it's not just customers that read these boards. :)
With the original release, 4.0, we really encouraged everyone to set it up and use it in a test or pilot situation, getting used to how it operates, and run it in parallel with your IM7 installation. Now with 4.1 having the migration tool, we are going to encourage everyone to immediately roll out 4.1.
Just about every answer to questions/problems concerning 4.0 will be met with the response "Move to 4.1" as soon as it's released! :)
