I cannot expand the submenu of SIM V5.0 ...
Hi, everyone!
I'm using the HP's SIM V5.0
I cannot expand any more the submenu of Options => Security => Certificates.
You can find the symptom of it from the attachment. Thank you!

Re: I cannot expand the submenu of SIM V5.0 ...
That is a known issue. Here is the workaround from the HPSIM readme.
Internet Explorer can exhibit poor or erratic behavior such as repainting
excessively, not fully displaying sub-menu options, not keeping up with
mouse movement, and sometimes showing menu cascades with scroll
bars and other unusual formatting. Internet Explorer has several settings
that alleviate or eradicate these issues:
- Solution 1:
1. Select Start>Settings>Control Panel>Internet Options>
Security>Trusted sites, and then click Sites.
2. In the Add this Web site to the zone, enter the HP Systems
Insight Manager system, or click Add. Add the system as
https://:50000.
3. Click [OK].
- Solution 2:
1. Select Tools>Internet Options>General>Temporary Internet>
Files>Settings>Check for newer versions of stored pages.
2. Select the Microsoft default of Automatically. The setting of
Every visit to the page causes the problem.
- Solution 3:
1. Select Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Security>Do not save
encrypted pages to disk.
2. Use the Microsoft default of unchecked. Checking this option
causes the problem. Note that HP Systems Insight Manager
already marks all encrypted pages to not be stored by the
browser. HP Systems Insight Manager does allow caching of
images and style sheets; checking this setting disable caching
of those resources as well, which excessively impacts
performance.

Re: I cannot expand the submenu of SIM V5.0 ...
This could also be a problem with using the IE browser on the Windows XP O/S. It won't allow successive pop-up windows to overlay previous pop-up's.
This could happen on any of the 'Options =>' menu multiple level drop-downs (eg: Options => Events => AAutomatic Event Handling => Manage Tasks). There are two options to fix this:
Option 1: Increase your screen resolution to something large enough (try 1600x1200) to allow a maximized browser to have enough room for all the pop-up's to cascade to the right.
Option 2: Re-size the browser window to something narrow enough that the menu bar wraps the 'Options =>' drop-down to the left. This again leaves enough room for the pop-up's to all cascade to the right. (Reference Attached)
My personal preference is for Option 2 when it's needed :)
Good Luck !!

Hmm. My attachment didn't make it. I'll try again.
