IBM MIBs

Are there MIBs for IBM X-Series 305 (8673) servers out there. I checked at IBM's support and could not find any. I am running SIM 4.1.

Thanks for any info.

Re: IBM MIBs

hello

Contact IBM Technical support for those MIBs. However the vendor must define MIBs

Re: IBM MIBs

See c:\program files\hp\systems insight manager\mibs and find

ibmmmalert.cfg
ibmmmalert.mib
ibmserveraid.cfg
ibmserveraid.mib
ibmums.cfg
ibmums.mib
ibmumsevent.cfg
ibmumsevent.mib

The .cfg files need only to be registered into hpSIM using the mxmib command.

Re: IBM MIBs

David,
Thanks, I had tried and failed to register the mibs with mcompile. I now see the light.
