ILO2 and HP SIM 7.2 SSO not working when set to Trusted Cert
Hi
i am trying to get SSO working for HP SIM, i am testing on a proliant DL 380G5
In the properties of the ILO on security / SIM SSO tab i have added my HP SIM server certificate by putting in the IP address of the SIM server and imported the cert, that is correctly displaying the SIM servers FQDN with a green tick box
on the trust mode drop down i have set this to Trust by Certificate. (screenshot attached)
If i am in HP SIM and i click the link to take me to the ILO i am still getting the username / Password page.
If i go back to the SSO settings within the ILO and change it from trust by certificate to trust by name SSO works, i would prefer to use the certiicate though.
Is there anything i have missed.
One additonal question i have is it seems to me so far (although i am just starting with this product) that there is a lot of manal work that needs doing on the target servers themselves to get ILO / VCRA working with SIM, is there not a way for HP SIM to configure all of this at time of discovery?
Thanks
