import of signed certificate failed
HP System Management Homepage v2.1.11.197
I've created a certificate req. with multihomed option. Once I've created the certificate I exported the certficate base64-encoded (pem) with all certificates in the chain. pkcs #7 ist not ascii, it's data. But the certificate cannot be imported - error:
ERROR LOG (severity=2) Thu Jul 03 15:07:04 2008
Could not load the PKCS #7 object.
ERROR LOG (severity=2) Thu Jul 03 15:07:04 2008
Unable to extract the certificate from the imported PKCS #7 file.
There is no btton to import a file rather than the contents of the text-box. What do I wrong?

Re: import of signed certificate failed
Hi
Yeh u r right. There is no button to import a file.
The certificate import error is observed only when the pkcs#7 certificate is corrupted.
Are u trying to import a customer generated certificate??
Could u give me steps u followed for this so that i can troubleshoot.

Re: import of signed certificate failed
Thx for answering. Meanwhile I found a work around. I copied the signed certificate (signed by our own CA and exported with chain) to the place where the original certificate is located (/etc/opt/hp/sslshare/cert.pem), restarted the hpsmhd and it worked.
