Insight Management agents 7 and Compaq Insight Manager 5.5

Does anyone know why Compaq Inaight Manager 5.5 cannot see or view HP Insight Management Agents 7.0 ?

I can't tell you why that is, I am running CIM 5.5 along side SIM 4.1 and they're both working just fine reading servers from Agents 5.5 through 7.0 and now 7.1 agents are out.

Check all your SNMP settings and community strings. I've never had any problems with this.

...however, please be aware that the disk MIB was re-architected with the 6.4 agents and CIM (Win32) 5.5 cannot receive traps from agents 6.4 or later. In addition, any features added after the 5.5 agent release won't be trapped or reported on. This includes blade servers, any server with Advanced Memory Protection, etc.

CIM 5.5 went end-of-life in July 2002 and is no longer supported or updated.
