Insight Manager 5.1 Handover

Hi Everyone,

I've been given charge of looking after out IT Departments HP SIM, and it has about 100000 events, and the system itself runs slow and almost unmanageble. Can someone suggest first steps to actuually taking back control of this system, things I should check first, etc. I have not used Insight Manager since the old version 7.
