Insight Manager Agent Problems
I am running the latest Insight Agents on a W2K3 DL380G3 Server.
I am running Insight Manager 7 sp2.1 on the management server.
If I click on the entry for the server in question and go to its "System Management Homepage" all works ok. However if I then click on the link for "Insight Management Agents" it goes to a framed page
http://servername:2381/webagent/findex.tpl
Which is what I would expect, however the navigation frame in the bottom left corner (webagent/navframe.tpf) is failing with a 404 Error, I have looked on the server and the file navframe.tpf is there located at:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CPQMgmt\Webagent\Eng\
I have uninstalled and re-installed the Insight Agents and it remains the same. Any ideas anyone. I have several servers that work ok but several that are showing this same problem.
Help much appreciated.
Brett

Re: Insight Manager Agent Problems
I really don't have a solution but perhaps more of a suggestion. From the information you left it seems that you have tried re-installing the agents. Perhaps you can compare the install of a system that seems to work to one that does not, assumming that they are the same version, you might notice a file missing or of a different size than the working one. Just a suggestion, if you see something obvious it might lead to a solution.

Re: Insight Manager Agent Problems
Hello,
I don't have a definite solution either, but I believe that when you uninstall the agents, the directory which contains the HTML is not deleted. You might try deleting this manually before reinstalling. It used to be something similar to \compaq\webm.
Also, is there anything unusual about the server name (i.e., special characters)? Have you tried browsing to the same location using the IP address?
Good luck,
- Steve
