Insight Manager and Windows Event Logs

Is HPIM capable of monitoring the Windows 2k/2k3 Server Event Logs?

I don't think it can. I have looked at the docs and downloaded a few more with no luck.
My Manager says he read something that makes him think it does, but can't remember what he read.

Thank you in advance for your help.

No, what would you be hoping to pick up?

You can get it to monitor Services (stop, start etc.) via the HP Management Agents GUI. It will also pick up events logged to the Integrated Management Log.
There is an HP Events Notifier, but that is not required if you have HPSIM as it just picks up events from the agents and sends them on.

Also, you can enable the "Enable Application Exception Trap" option in the Management Agents control panel to get notified if a process crashes. That's about it for system events.
