Insight Manager Homepage won't display W2k
I have an intermittent issue where the Insight Manager Homepage won't load. No process looks hung (besides this page), and cpu/memory load look normal. The only thing that seems to fix it is a reboot. Then it freezs up again in a few days. The server does have two NIC's, and I've tried binding the preferred NIC in the system management homepage (based on a similiar thread), but both the system management homepage and the insight manager homepage still go to localhost. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
CH

Re: Insight Manager Homepage won't display W2k
Christian,
I seem to remember a similar problem a long time ago. It has something to do with setting the service so that it could (or could not) interact with the desktop.
In the service, on the "Log On" tab, either check or uncheck the "Allow service to interact with desktop".
This may be completely unrelated to your problem, but for some reason this is sticking in my head as a solution to a problem that was very similar to your. Maybe it was for IM 7.0...
Try picking the oposite to what it is currently set to. So if it is unchecked, try checking it and vice versa.
Let me know if that helps
