Insight Manager, not opening

Hello,

I have 3 HP DL servers, with insight manager latest version.
when I click on the Insight manager icon on the desktop, it takes me through the certificate warning, and i click yes, and Java warning , and click yes, then it will go to a window where it says
"please wait, checking for java Plug-in", and then it just hangs there without doing anything else.
all of the servers have the same issue.

could anyone advise of what the problem is ?

I have installed the lastest java from sun website, but that didnt fix the problem.

there is an known issue
if you are running HPSIM 4.0 or 4.1 without SP1
you have to install 4.0/4.1 SP1 to fix the problem.
the problem with 4.0/4.1 without SP1 is caused by a security vulnerability patch for the Internet Explorer
