Integration of SIM 4.1 and NNM 7.1

Hi,

I searched the HP website and the forums but I haven't found what I'm looking for. Is there any possibility to integrate HP SIM 4.1 with NNM 7.1 ? I only found an integration strategy for HP IM < 7 and NNM 6.x.

Thanks for the document but this still doesn't answer my question. Following one of the embedded links I can only find the following information:

Qualified for use with OpenView NNM 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4 across all supported operating platforms (HP-UX 11.x, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Solaris 7, Solaris 8, and Solaris 9)

Unfortunately, I have to use NNM 7.x because this is the only version we are allowed to use.

So again, is there any possibility to use SIM with NNM 7.x ?

I have been asking that question also. It is supposed to be this fall. I put a call into tech support and will know later today.

Despite the main revision numbe change NNM 7.x is not that substatially different from 6.4. Do you have a development machine you could test the integration on. My guess is that it should work ok.

There is no change in NNM6.4 and NNM7 in ref to trap and mib functionality. So it should work just fine.
