IPM could not connect: SIM Alert
SIM has this error from all our c7000 enclosures.
Event Name: IPM could not connect
Event originator: "EnclosureName" Event Severity: Minor Event received: 11-Jun-2009, 16:15:29 Event description: Insight Power Manager could not connect to the managed system.
Detail: null
SIM can view power stats from the enclosures.
SIM version 5.2 sp2 - IPM 1.4
Active and Standby OA firmware 2.41
Has anybody seen this before?

It can happen that IPM will erroneously contact the standby OA of a dual OA configuration, and this will be the result.
This problem has been addressed in IPM 2.0, the binaries for which can be obtained from http://www.hp.com/go/ipm.
