Java start problem.....

i have a problem with the system insight manager and the integrated java. i have this problem with a machine that already was working and with an new machine. When i start insight manager it keeps standing with "Please wait. checking for java Plug-in" and does nothing else. the first machine was working ok and now it has this problem, the new maschine had this problem from the start. anybody got an idee?

I had this problem also,

I fixed it by uninstalling the Java, running HP SIM again and let it reinstall the Java itself.

If it still doesn't work, take off the Java Web Client off and try again

tried it on both machines and both ways, doesn´t work. anymore ide

Uninstall the latest IE6 security patch (July 04). That fixed it for me.
