Java version for HPSIM 4.2?

Does anyone know the exact Java version that HPSIM 4.2 uses? When I look in the Internet Option on my HPSIM 4.2 server, it indicates v1.4.1_04. However, the user guide indicates v1.4.2_03.

hello!

i think that does not matter - i am running it on my client with v1.5.0 without any problem.

but i won´t change the version on the server unless requested by hp!

I think HPSIM will install 1.4.2_04 if there is no suitable version of the JRE present.

I downloaded 1.4.2_06 from the Sun Java site and that works fine. I tried JRE 1.5 here for a bit but found it a bit unstable at times and so reverted back to 1.4.2_06.
