Licensing issue with PMP 3.0 and SIM 4.1
I have successfully installed SIM 4.1 along with PMP 3.0 on a Windows 2003 EE. After all the appropriate SNMP setup my all system page seems to be okay. The PF column reports "?" suggesting I have this server available for licensing. I have PSP installed from Smart Start 7.10 and hence the agent version installed are 7.10 agents.
Under the PMP ->licensing menu item, I do not see these 2 servers where I have windows 2003 EE installed. One of these systems is also acting as SIM console ie I have SIM installed on this system.

Re: Licensing issue with PMP 3.0 and SIM 4.1
The ? does not imply you have a license.
A PMP license needs to be purchased for any Server you want the additional monitoring functionality.
The license keys are entered into HPSIM via the Options / Performance Management Pack Options / Licencing screen.
The monitoring is then started and configured from the configuration screen.
You might also need to use the Update Server List to get new servers recognised by the PMP if you have some licenses available. Not sure what this does but it seems to trigger some kind of rescan.
