Local Administrator Account Lockout
Hi,
I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on why HPSIM would be locking out the local administrator account on some of our servers.
By default we rename our local administrator account, but some servers still use this standard administrator account and HPSIM is for some reason connecting to the servers and trying to authenticate as administrator.
I thinking it has something to with the identification process and WMI, but I could be wrong. Servers without an account call Administrator do not see to have the problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.. Thanks
Michael.

Re: Local Administrator Account Lockout
Do you have WBEM enabled in the Global Settings?
Do you have any account details there?

Re: Local Administrator Account Lockout
Hi Rob,
we do have WBEM enabled.. There are three entries for this all using Administrator.
Isn't this soley used for logging into the systems management homepage?
