Managing ESX 2.5.4 hosts and VMs

I have HPSim 5.1 and working fine..

If I want to monitor my ESX 2.5.4 hosts and running VMs in my HPSIM.

What do I need to install and configure? as a minimum so I can monitor them???

Do I need to buy any HP SIM plugin licenses?

Depends on what you mean by monitor them.

There are HP Agents available for ESX, see:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/index.html
and select the appropriate OS.

You can use wbem to get more information about the VM Guests, but your monitoring ability is a bit more limited.

You can purchase VMM for the Host servers but I'm not sure it'll help with the monitoring.
