Many Hardware status polling tasks and device status change not sent

Hello All.

The issue I have is : when a server status changes (from normal to major or minor for example) I don't receive any eMail telling 'the server status changed due to the following task ..." like it was in IM7. It works however when changing from normal to critical or reverse, or if SIM receives a trap from a server. Is there anything to enable to receive the "device status change" eMails ?

When checking the HW polling tasks to find a solution for the above problem, I found the "HW polling task for servers" has 111 occurences in a pending state, 56 for the "HW polling task for non server". Is that normal ?

That is not normal. Do you have a very high volume of servers that are being monitored? If yes, may be you can increase the polling time interval so that the next task doesn't queue up and go to the pending state.

450 systems at all, including 300 servers. I changed the interval from 5 minutes to 30 minutes and will see how it goes.

That's ok now, the task takes about 10 minutes to complete. I changed the intervall from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.

Any idea about the "Device status change" eMails not sent ?

Task problem resolved, I will open a new thread about the device status change.
