Message storm continues after SIM 4.0 -> 4.2
I was eager to upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2, because I thought the message storm would finally be solved. But it's not...
I thought that the anti-storm patch that was made for 4.1 was included in 4.2. Is that correct?
I'm running SIM 4.2 on a 2003 platform and getting thousands of old messages each storm, sometimes several times per day.
Anyone any idea on how to fix this very, very anoying problem?

Re: Message storm continues after SIM 4.0 -> 4.2
If you are getting thousands of messages each time then you have never created a task to delete old events? Creating a new event list for "events older than xx days" and then scheduling a delete events task to reference this event list will keep your database cleaned up and may reduce or even eliminate the problem which appears to be triggered on systems where no event maintenance has been done.
Yes the e-mail storm fix was included in 4.2. Please open a call with you local support center so this problem can be investigated further.

Re: Message storm continues after SIM 4.0 -> 4.2
I do delete old client events, but I keep the history of old server records.
My mail client doesn't really mind weather I get hundreds or thousand of mails, it just sorts and deletes...
