Migrate SIM from old hardware to new hardware
Okay, I'm hoping this is simple. We need some resources to help us figure out how best to migrate SIM 5.1 from an old server to a new server. here's the deal, we are not using MSDE. We have a SQL2000 Database sitting on a completely seperate server. I would assume that would make things easier. Quite frankly we don't care if we keep historical data, we just want all of the nodes to move to the new SIM server. We also need info on how best to deal with the certificates since the new server will have a different name. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Migrate SIM from old hardware to new hardware
Hi !
After fresh install, use configure or reapir agants in SIM to rester snmp, correct certificates.
you do this on multiple host in one shot if you have same them in same domain.
regards,
Nordan
