Migrate SIM to a new server
I'm wondering if it's possible to migrate SIM to a new server and keep all the custom event's and servers from old SIM server?
I have an alias that my server use to connect to the existing server and I'm just going to change the alias to point to the new server but how do I migrate the database/events to the new SIM server?
I'm running SIM 4.1
Thanks

Re: Migrate SIM to a new server
If you are 'migrating' from one database to another and is the same version (i.e. from one 4.1 version to another 4.1 install), you can use SQL Enterprise Manager to migrate the db over.
Assuming the login account is the same, you can change the DSN name and then update the database.props file to update the pointer and that should work.
