Multiple instances of the CMS server
In my â all Systemsâ view I show two instances of my CMS Server. One of the instances shows the HWStatus to be disabled, and the other doesnâ t. The serial # is being shown as the system name on the one that is showing disabled. Clicking on the HWStatus on my CMS server only gives me my â Version Controlâ info. Iâ m missing info on the NIC, storage, system, etc.
Is there a way of correcting this?
Thanks,
John

Re: Multiple instances of the CMS server
That sign indicates the Server has been Disabled from monitoring.
Click on the Server name in the HPSIM disply, from there click on the Tools & Links tab and then the Suspend/Resume Monitoring. You should be able to re-enable it there.
Not too sure why there are two unless you have multiple NIC's for this Server.

Re: Multiple instances of the CMS server
I checked to see if the monotoring was disabled, but I found it enabled. I also tried disabling and enabling it to see what would happen, but all remained the same.
I also double checked to see if I had multiple nics. Even thought I do, the other is disabled.
