mxtask and creating event tasks based on computer names

I've created a couple of sample event tasks with server names listed and done an export using mxtask to try and capture the syntax but the computer names are not displayed in the output. There's also no documentation on how to specify a list of server names for the mxtask command. Is there a way to define tasks, using the mxtask, based on a list of server names or better yet a predefined device/system list within the SIM environment?

See http://www.hp.com/go/hpsim --> Information Library --> mxtask.1m (man pages at bottom of screen)

-q queryname An option to specify name of an existing Systems Insight Manager query.

So it appears that what the mxtask utility can do is take a query that I have previously created, a tool parameter file, a tool name, combine those all together, and create an event based task. Is that correct?
