Nasty bug in SIM5 with Install Software Tasks

Hello all,

I stumbled over a nasty bug in the new SIM5 when I tried to schedule multiple "Install software and Firmware" tasks.

I scheduled one job for several Windows 2003 machines and selected a custom baseline of Windows 2003 support pack components to have them installed at night. Then I scheduled a second job for a Windows 2000 machine and selected another custom baseline (of Windows 2000 support pack components, of course) and scheduled it to run several days later.
The next morning I noticed that SIM tried to install the Windows 2000 components selected for the second task on the Windows 2003 machines selected for the first task which of course failed for some components.

When analyzing what happened I finally came to the conclusion that SIM will always apply the software selection of the job that was modified last to ALL scheduled "Install software" tasks.

Has someone else stumbled over this and can confirm that this is a bug in SIM? Or is something wrong with my installation?

Thank you in advance for any comments.

We are experiencing the same problem described above. Anyone found a resolution?

No, I habe not found a solution yet, and I did not get any answers to my question here (except yours).

However, I have not tried it again since the installation of SP2. Maybe that bug was fixed there?
