Need some information for IBM servers
Can you please explain me which all mibs are neccessary for hp sim 5 to monitor IBM servers? i can see some mibs in the mibs folder in hp system manager. Are these mibs already compiled or i have to compile it? Please provide me the commands so as to compile and register them.

Use you're IBM Director on you re IB Server,just make sure you install snmp,WMI and WEBM install it should be fine from there on!

You'll just need the IP Address from one of them, go to Options, Discovery, Manage Systems Types. Select New and then hit the retrieve from System Button. Put the IP Address in the box and go from there. You may need to customise the Match a bit in one of the later screens but that's about it.
I use this to display various Sun Servers.
