Need to change IP address and name for Insight server
My current Insight Manager has two NIC's. One for production and one for backup. For some reason, Insight is saying that the backup Ip address is the IP address of the Insight manager. How do I configure the SIM to use the production IP address to access all the servers. Right now, our backup network isn't allowing any traffic from my Insight Manager server to any other server (hence why I want to use the production interface).

Re: Need to change IP address and name for Insight server
Hi Eric.
You mean that in SIM the CMS address is the backup one ?
I had the same issue and one guy here gave me the solution :
- stop the HP Sim service
- disable the backup NIC
- start the HP Sim service
- make sure the address is the good one
- re-enable the backup NIC
It worked for me.
Regards.
